i havent had a chance to listen to the nrew album yet. i quite liked the last one but it took a little while for me to get into it.
flyswatter is my favourite. i love the lyrics and the way he makes a happy song seem so depressing!

1 of only 3 cover versions they've ever done, the other 2 are ashes to ashes and sea song by robert wyatt. i think creep was just a bit of fun, he only played it live on the last tour.

his version is very similar to the original. it was done for a charity album i think.
also, theyve both recently (curt and roland now backj together... awwww!) said that the gary jules version of mad world is really good. i can't help but agree, i think its an excellent interpretation. and it fits in really well with the donnie darko film.

you know, I haven't heard the new eels album but there last few albums have been weak. souljacker was just a rehash and it was garbage, sold that one like that...daisies of the galaxy was alright but nowhere near as good as their previous stuff. I haven't heard it but I already know exactly what its gonna sound like, I can understand perfectly why the album got destroyed by pitchfork.
