I'm noticing a considerable decrease in posts from regulars
over the last few weeks.

What happened to everyone? Has anyone else noticed this?

so we meet at 9, walk into the bank like normal people, then
pull out the guns. Jimmy, you take the back, marvin will get
the manager, and i'll stay close to the entrance. Dave, you
watch the hostages.

from posting..

c-girl: the past is so much nicer. you weren't here then so
you would not know.
(no offence: a fellow vegan idm-girl is a good thing)

i've been around here for five or six months now maybe...
and the one constant that i've noticed is that there is
always a sizeable group of people who say that recently the
quality of posts has dropped.

i think it's just the dynamics of a message board that
you'll get tired of what's being posted.... people come and
go.

i'm willing to bet that if you took a cross section of
threads from two years ago they'd be the same type/quality
as they were this week.

i've noticed the same thing on mulitple other boards too,
not just this one.

Nice point! Anyways things always seemed better in the past
than what they really are.

Example: I was like remember that one song by oleander? And
everyone was like fuck yeah it rocks my socks..... so then
this girl was like i own it and she put it in and we all
reached a sevre level of disappointment as it sucked

offline epohs from )C: on 2003-05-23 11:56 [#00711620]
Points: 17620 Status: Lurker | Followup to epohs: #00711610

same thing happens with larger groups of people, such as
clubs and fraternities too.

the 'things have changed' mentality... there was prolly some
neanderthal complaining that things have really been suckin'
since we grew opposable thumbs.

offline corrupted-girl on 2003-05-23 11:58 [#00711625]
Points: 8469 Status: Regular

yess, you tend to remember things better then they actually
were then if you have an opurtunity to go back to the way it
was it isn't as great as you though. like people... old best
friends you'll miss, or ex's.. then you see them again and
it's like.. um... i remember it soo much better.

I still just skim over topics, don't participate in
discussion much for some reason.

I'm often here though...which I suppose is kind of wierd.
