"firecrackers...or something". anyways. yes. rich colour.
i'm guessing just cross-processed slide film?

Other favourites are

David Lachapelle

and Pierre et Gilles :
medusa (my fav work by them)
Le jeune communiste
portait of lady swinton
guy
I can't seem to find their strongest work on the net.. :(

and then there's Gabriel duda, who made my current avatar:

Supreme... I really liked Gabriel Duda's stuff, it was new
to me, but I wish I could've understood the text.

I've never liked Pierre et Gilles work, but I used to really
be into Lachapelle. Then I started getting into
photographers who are less slick like Terry Richardson and
Ryan McGinley. Here's a link:

Ryan McGinley

As for Erwin Olaf... Some of his stuff is AWESOME like the
Serperation series and then some of it is just too fruity.
Do you know anything about his process? Is it digital?
Speaking of digital photography, my favorite right now is :

Phil Mucci

woot, so I'm the lucky one that opened the gates for all
spam to be welcomed in this thread, I feel so special
now...,

but seriously spoonz, more to the point, do you have any
"links of your fav photographers"
that might have inspired all that wasted film?

I don't know anything about Olafs process.
I think he uses a GOOD make up artist and some digital
effects.

I've got some more links!
This one here is Shannon Hourigan. Call her pictures gothic ,
if you want. Her style makes me think of Marilyn Manson. I
like it!

Then I thought I'd spam some of my own work :
I use no digital effects.(surprising, hu?..)
portrait of a friend
selfportrait with candlelight

and then I have some other link, dunno where I got it from,
but it's nice pictures.

about Ryan McGinley : I don't really like all of his work. I
miss some sort of harmony in the composition and the
coulors.
it's rather unstabile. (oh gee! I sound very artyfarty
here!)

The Phil Mucci page didn't open.
prolly I have to restart my computer :-/

Spoonz, You have some nice work. I like the black & white
pics of Emily .
Black & white's allways nice!
But I think you should select the real nice ones and put
those online only, not just all of 'em. (if it's meant to be
a page of nice pics offcourse! )
Less is more!
cut the crap and leave the quality online!
(the ones with the troll are HORRIBLE! ;) )
