i'm with earthleakage
i hate all those virtuoso.they aren't capapable of write any
memorable song.
satriani,vai are really boring
even zappa is boring to me.
originality,innovation and sound are much more important
than technique in my opinion.

probably a contractual agreement. his guitar also got 50%
royalties, and rightly so imo.

Yeah, the Pantera dude (Dimebag Darrell), Black Label
Society/Ozzy dude (Zakk Wylde) and Slipknot's #7 (Mick
Thomson) are the (only?) three guitarists in heavy metal
that know all the theory and can really shred...
