Ok, im on my parents PC...
somehow, some piece of shit thing installed itself on the computor... so now, when in explorer... there is this extra bar that pops up.... called a "hot bar" and it has these bright yellow buttons
its really annoying
i can make it go away by unselecting it... but everytime i open explorer, or a new window... its back
its driving me nuts
how the hell do I get this thing off?

If you go to "view" then look in both "toolbars" and "explorer bars". These should both open up other menus. See if there is a "Hot Bar" menu item in either of those two and if there is, deselect it.

If you're lucky it will have an item in your program install/remove control panel. Otherwise get spybot search & destroy or adaware to get rid of it for good.
