I've recently, just for the fun of it, made a little track that mimics the sounds coming from so called number stations.
The track is made entirely in Reason (except for the voices which where digitally generated in another program) - even all the radio interference and hum sounds where made with Subtractor patches.
I think it's possible to drag n' drop right into winamp if you want to stream it.

I'm guessing using the noise function of the Subtractor?

If you've ever used Propellerheads Reason software: I made a buch of Subtractor synths and simply turned the knobs until I got the sounds I liked.
Last thing to do was to give the track as a whole a bit of shortwave radio-feel so I ran i through a phaser and some EQ-ing.
That's pretty much it yes. Yes.

Oh, if you like to hear it in Reason yourself - without the post effects and stuff - you can always download the songfile: click here
NOTE: You'll need Reason 2.5 to open the file unfortunately...
