There are still so many cd's i want to buy (some are pretty
old and i still haven't got'em ..shame shame..), but i can't
affort all of'em at this moment, so which ones would you
choose if you could pick only one? (two or three is also
fine)

- Venetian Snares - 2370894

- Radiohead - OK Computer

- Tom Waits - Mule Variations

- Squarepusher - Hard Normal Daddy

- Squarepusher - DYKSP

- BoC - Geogaddi

- Mika Vaino - Kajo

- Goldfrapp - Black Cherry

- NIN - Downward Spiral

Thank you!!! :)

Are you familiar with the cd's, or not (Ok computer?) ...
tricky, as they aren't all must have's imo.

Squarepusher: Hard Normal Daddy is my vote, or Mika Vaino:
Kajo, (though haven't heard this one).

Squarepusher - HND
Radiohead - OK Computer
BoC - Geogaddi

The NIN album is a good buy for any other day, but not in
the presence of the others here.

are you sure you're going to like OK computer?

in your case you'd go best with vsnares, sp and NIN

In my case i'd go IMMEDIATELY buy geogaddi.

NIN - The Downward Spiral.

Hard Normal Daddy, OK Computer and Geogaddi are nice too,
but nothing compared to The Downward Spiral (it's a
masterpiece).

i definetly can't wait to get it. im already starting to
get somewhat confused. especially about how her parents
aren't her real parents. i want to know what she is and
what the heck was up with that little alien that stands at
her door???

about the little alien, that's never clearly explained, i
saw the whole series and i'm still not sure!

this site has a few explanations if you don't get
something after having seen the series... it doesn't explain
the alien thing unfortunately

but still worth a visit.

"i'll get OK computer first "

a very wise decision mr morton. I was going to advise on
that one too, until i saw you had already made up your mind
:-p

After OKC, get geogaddi. And then get Hard Normal Daddy.
(and in my humble opinion you can skip DYKSP and Mule
Variations. Ugh, especially Mule Variations! I hate that
cd... i wonder what i was thinking when i bought it).

Anyway, enjoy ok computer!

well i guess i just don't like Tom Waits in general then
:-)

Maybe the music is too minimal for me or something... i
don't know. But it bores me beyond belief. I bought it just
because it got good reviews, not knowing what to expect.

There's only one song on there that i like, and it's called
"big in japan". It's a loud song with dirty-sounding
guitars... i love it! :-) Shame he didn't make anymore of
those.

It's almost 70 minutes long too... booooring :-p But if you
like other tom waits, i'll think you'll enjoy this one too
then. I guess.
