QUICK1, LFO vs FUSE

Just picked up this 12" recently, but known about it since
the WARP10 series was out. There was a track on that from
this (the FUSE mix), listed as being from QUICK1, so me
being a fan of all things warpy decided to try to find it.
Now I've got it (and very nice it is too) I'm wondering if
anyone knows how it came about... what label it's on really
(there's no clue on the labels)... is it a promo? bootleg?
an actual ep?
I emailed folks at warp about it some time ago and they
claimed ignorance. pffft. But there's a fair few people at
discogs.com who have it so I'm guessing it's not too rare.

So... anyone?

Quick1 was a warp offshoot for this track, It was released
on +8 the canadian label and was there second biggest seller
after F.U. by fuse (Richie Hawtin) The fuse mix was the
collaboration of Richie and lfo and the other mix was for
the AI series.

woo! I got an answer! I got an answer!! I asked a question
that wasn't silly or nonsense and it got an answer!!! A real
answer! One that made sense! A major new step in
messageboard evolution methinks.

ps, thanks :) though I don't remember hearing the LFO track
anywhere in the AI series... unless by the AI series you
mean something other than the warp artificial intelligence
series... (it's late, brain going slow)

It was for the AI series but it wasn't that good really! I
think I read somewhere.....that both richie and lfo weren't
that happy with that mix...8 )

I liked it. Does that make me a bad person?

I have no taste *wails, etc*

Maybe I'm just reminiscing for the old bleepy thumpy days

awesome! (I always wanted to say that)... and... famous last
words :D (I always wanted to say that too)

i put on the kenny larkin azimuth album the other day, only
I put it on at the wrong speed (45) and didn't recognise it
as being circa 94. I also stick on the Rhythm Invention
Inventures In Wonderland CD quite often (once a year or so
often) and it still sounds great.

I love the track called 'track' I think from Azimuth, the
one that sounds like Pigeons at the begining, it's a groove
that I could listen to all night!

You know, it does sound like pigeons. I never thought
about that before. It's a great track and still fresh. Even
at the right speed :D

right, 4am... definitely time for 3 hours sleep before work
tomorrow :(

well at least those are straight-up out of print.. not
having LFO's 2nd album released in america is embarassing.
they need to reissue donkey rhubarb, cichli suite, and
envane too..

Why are you bullying me in public freqy? Saying I go to
bookstores and buy books I'm not interested in? This is
very hurtful and not a good way to conduct yourself.
