I think I am a victim. I used to smoke obscene amounts of
Ganj and as a result I'm lazy and never wash the dishes.
kinda figures heh heh

well, it's not the lazy-part I'm thinking about. More the
fact that I can't concentrate and rather try to look on life
with an ironic and sarcastic perception

Yes, I reckon it's different to choosing dope over the other
things...

I mean, it's not unheard of for people to skimp on
food/socialising to save time or money for a hobby, but
smoking just seems an escapist thing to do.

junktion, you should try to find out why you get depressed
in the first place. or, if you think you are suffering from
withdrawal symptoms, try and tough it out. perhaps what the
cannabis is actually doing is facilitating your refusal to
address the issues that result in your depression. if you
address those issues and grow beyond them, you'll find your
interest in cannabis and your dependency on it diminished.
