Before you shoot me in the face hear me out.

Anyone know any good websites for the "other" type of
electronic ( techno, trance, house, acid, dj ) music? I'm
talking like sasha, digweed, paul van dyk sort of stuff?
Obviously this isn't the place to be talking about this kind
of music, so where is a good place?!

Save the insults and just leave positive feedback please.
See ya

We all have our roots. I respect your decision Asche XL,
you won't get any flak from me - unfortunately I can't help
you, but I'll keep my eye out.

Don't be ashamed.
It all has it's place (deep house etc)

Besides, some of it can really tear yer roof off....(if U can
get past the inevitable junk, that is....)

since when do you have to make excuses for liking a musical
genre other than "IDM"?
Asche, you could also try some of the internet radio
stations like proton or frisky or XTC, they mostly play
mixes of progressive, but the mixes are usually up to
date with the newest songs, sometimes they play singles
inbetween mixes too. I streamrip those stations all the time
to provide the place where I work with the latest mixes.

I love to dance. Dance is up there with love and sex, good
food, music itself (duh)... but not to the stuff you're
talking about. It got boring and uninspiring real quick.

Good luck though.

"since when do you have to make
excuses for liking a musical genre other than "IDM"?"

Exactly... IDM ain't the be all, end all...

most "idm" sucks to me.

Yeah, the only reason I'm saying that is because MOST of you
all despise the genre...I'm not ashamed of it at all.

thanks x-tomatic

i don't despise, just not into that stuff anymore. the
album "inspired by e2-e4" is rad.

it's the same as most genres for me. there are a lot of
artists i'm into from every musical background, but there
are even more that i don't reall appreciate.

I agree too. I've tried some compilations, and few tracks
stand out as interesting. But then something like
lexaunculpt's plus and minus miss c bug totally blow me
away. Damn, I hate communicating. Why do I keep doing it?

That Blurring of Trees record was kind of boring. I did like
a couple of the songs, though.
