well, I really don't know... I bought these two albums
within a few days... so I haven't really had a whole lot of
time to listen... I'm enjoying Draft 7.30 a lot... but
Confield is great!!

"whats better? cause i never really listened to Confield
with the exception of Pen Expers"

sounds like you will be able to make a well-educated choice.

You've changed, man... you've changed.

I give Confield 9.5 eggs (out of ten possible eggs), and
Draft gets 9 eggs. Bine is more violent than anything on
Draft, Eidetic is more quirkily melodic than anything on
Draft, Parhelic Triangle is more... demented... or...
something or other... Pen Expers is more exciting, Cfern is
groovier... it's got it all. The extremes are more extreme.

thats fair i think.

not to be pedantic (moi?) but shouldn't it be out of 12 eggs
rather than 10? :)

offline The_Funkmaster from St. John's (Canada) on 2003-05-12 18:48 [#00695892]

or you could even go for a bakers dozen of 13 eggs...

jeeeeeezus. that's a tough one
frankly I never thought I'd say it but I think draft 7.30
nudges out confield as my favorite
just barely
they're SO different though!

as for eggs, I give them both a dozen omelettes...
top that corny shit

who fucking cares
neither is better
they are DIFFERENT

sorry,
they are both good, you will need a lot of time listening to
both of them to decide which is better for yourself, so go
flip a coin to decide which one to get first, go buy it,
listen to it, wait a while, buy the other, etc.. than make a
decision..

i think they're quite different

offline nacmat on 2003-05-12 19:22 [#00695913]

i ve been searching the weakly poll... and a poll about
confield was never done... strange

Confield, makes more sense.

offline nacmat on 2003-05-12 19:27 [#00695921]
Points: 31271 Status: Lurker

the diference I see:

confield has a begining, a middle and an end

draft doesnt seem to evolve in tha way... it seems not to
have that perfectly logic structure

I think confield has more emotion in it

nod, confield has more emotion, and draft is about the
bootie shaking!!! :)

offline FuZziE from this land's just one big city (Netherlands, The) on 2003-05-12 19:29 [#00695926]

perhaps because there are more melodic elements in it than
in draft

draft really has some nice beats on it though...

offline Crocomire from plante (United States) on 2003-05-12 19:36 [#00695932]

draft is like a skeleton, confield is a fleshed-out skeleton

offline flim nanou from out of the frying pan (United States) on 2003-05-12 20:01 [#00695965]

that's not right... they're both complete creatures, not
lacking flesh or bones... they're just different
creatures... draft has a lot of muscle and leathery skin,
and lot of bass beating through its veins... confield is
delicate and sharp and curvaceous, all lungs and long hair
and fingernails

offline listentoparka from Fisherman's Cove (United States) on 2003-05-12 21:44 [#00696066]

confield is a little better i think

Confield shits all over Draft and then invites flies to the
feast.

confield is like a 8' giant.
draft is like an 8'1" giant.
theyre both giants, but draft's got an extra inch.
