i don't know if anyone has ever noticed/discovered this
before, but if open up the track, like spinning plates from
amnesiac (a song that is kinda "reversed" sounding to begin
with) in a wav editor and reverse it, it sounds very similar
the track "i will" from their upcoming hail to the thief
album. pretty neat..

Why, that's an interesting looking site you've linked there
young Travis! Who created that trove of information???

shit. i should have looked up about this beforehand. they
shouldn't have let anyone know this, though, so the only
people who would know would be the fans who had for some
reason reversed spinning plates and heard i will, or
reversed i will and heard like spinning plates..

does the fact that i linked my own site somehow cheapen the
information? excuse me if i'm incorrectly assuming your
sarcastic tone. sometimes i answer legitimate questions with
links to things i've written and it's treated as some kind
of advertisement.

Naw I just breaking your balls a little, I remember someone
asking who's site it was when you linked it before and you
got slightly exasperated ;D

yea the 19 page paper i did on steve reich and SAW2.. i'm
sure you'd want credit for it also if you spent as much time
as i did on that. but i see your point though :) as long as
people enjoy the information/analysis that's what really
matters

i didn't find it that obvious, by actually reversing the
song, like i did right when i got the cd because the track
was so backwards sounding, and now doing it again and
realizing that it's basically the same as "there there"
after now hearing it, not just reading it on a website that
tells everything about the songs..

did you know he also sung the song backwards? Apparantly
thom spent weeks figuring out how to sing the lyrics
backwards. And then they reversed that recording too, so the
words sounded "normal" again...

I remember reading he said the lyrics were "too intense" for
him to sing them in a normal fashion.

that's pretty interesting.
in reverse, the vocals sound really strange as well.

That site was awesome, im a big radiohead fan and you just
made my day by giving me a plethora of useful facts. Does
anyone know if the leaked tracks of Hail to the thief are
very different from the studio version? There there sounds
pretty similar...

my God Titsworth, it must've taken forever to do that
site... I have enough trouble updating my album database...
I put in a field for notes about each album, and it has
never gotten filled in... :)
