AE Contest Voting Suggestion

When the 15 are selected by the "xlt crew", I propose the
following voting process: each voter is "given", say, 30
points (double the number of finalists)... and they can
distribute their points relatively to which tracks they like
most relative to other tracks... for example, they can give
ALL 30 to one track that totally blows them away (unlikely
that anyone would like a single track this much more) or
they can give 2 points to EACH track (in the unlikely event
that they like them all exactly equally) or distribute them
however the hell they want...

This is more of a smoother vote than the rigid "only vote
for 1 of the 15" method. It's an intellivote, oh yeah I just
coined that awesome word. You heard it here folks.
oh yeah- kool aid man. I'll shut up.

Just use your ten toes, plus ten fingers, plus ten armpit
hairs. Are there any pre-pubesents around here, that could
be a problem. Maybe someone can mail them spare arm pit hair
to count with.

Heaven's near poshnu? I didn't even know. I would think I'd
hear about it by word of mouth or something by NOW... I
guess it's just not that interesting of a place.

actually it's not fair, because while other people will vote
smoothly (distributing the points) the actual finalists will
dump all 30 of their points on their own track, making it
quite unfair. There could be a rule that the finalists
cannot vote, which would fix this... but then there goes the
anonymity.

I will not participate in this system based solely on its
stupid name: "intellivote" indeed..

ok... wonkavote. It's like wonkavision. Or we can keep the
name intellivote and somehow incorporate miniature
intelligent robots.
