Pretentious to the max, elevating the electronic process over and above musical content, and avoiding any kind of impact on the listener whatsoever, save mild annoyance. " |

Sorry, just read that and it looks like I hated all the laptop sets... I didn't, Zoviet France were absolutely superb. I was just saying Hecker wasn't much cop at all. |

I must say I disagree with some of the things he wrote. Jim O´rourke sucked...pretentious and lame. VSnares ruled and The magic band wasnt anything surreal, it was just a bunch of old men playing blues rock better suited for the Queen Victoria. And I think I know what the guys ironing towels during A Parker And Mira Calix was all about... its time for the girls now to take over. Men prepare youself to do a lot more ironing and cleaning in the future while your girlfriend is busy tweaking her synthesizers.... |

Yeah....those comments about Snares and Aphex is something I expect from a 15 year old...not someone who actually wants to post their thoughts publicly on a website, I really found it that bad |
