evening....

whats the best way to record my tunes to wav or mp3?

i assume i'll take a line out from my mixer into the comps
line in.... but what should i record it into?

i go from minidisc back thru a mixer to cooledit, cause my
computers a piece of junk. and i can actually understand
cooledit.

there must be a dozen threads on this dude :D

try cool edit... it's the best solution.

Try connecting the line out of your desk into yr soundcard
line in an use Sound Forge or Cool Edit i guess.

If your feeling daring, dependening in your setup, you could
sync everything up and record each mixer track seperatetly
into Sonic Foundry's Vegas or a similar program. then you
can add more effects or dsp to each track individually.
