I've heard about these kits that can repair your scratched
cd's. Any recommendations?

i bought some stuff a while back called crystal-disc. it was
under £5 and does an ok job. i don't know how it would cope
with big scratches. it has certainly fixed a couple of
scratched rental dvds

I'm definitely getting one, but I don't know what's offered
on the market. Does anyone know of a consumer test of these
products or have any experience with them?

There is a plasticy thing with a handle, you put your
scratched cd into it, turn the handle, and the scratched CD
transmogrifies into a good as new CD! I think it may take
the scratched layer off or something...they are good
though!

maybe a search in google for magic plastic CD mahoojimy will
help!

They sell them in most computer/ music shops!

none of them are much good. just repurchase your damaged
cd's and treat them better in the future.

I've repaired small scratches using nothing bu
toothpaste...just rub some on the scratched surface...let it
stay on there for a few mins then wipe it off with a wet
cloth.
