I've heard about these kits that can repair your scratched cd's. Any recommendations?

i bought some stuff a while back called crystal-disc. it was under £5 and does an ok job. i don't know how it would cope with big scratches. it has certainly fixed a couple of scratched rental dvds

I'm definitely getting one, but I don't know what's offered on the market. Does anyone know of a consumer test of these products or have any experience with them?

There is a plasticy thing with a handle, you put your scratched cd into it, turn the handle, and the scratched CD transmogrifies into a good as new CD! I think it may take the scratched layer off or something...they are good though!
maybe a search in google for magic plastic CD mahoojimy will help!
They sell them in most computer/ music shops!

I've repaired small scratches using nothing bu toothpaste...just rub some on the scratched surface...let it stay on there for a few mins then wipe it off with a wet cloth.
