I've taken IQ tests before -- they only went up to 150 tho,
so my IQ is 150+, I've never done a more advanced one to
pinpoint it -- it's good enough for me to know I'm in the
top 1% of people who do IQ tests.

i ve been very amazed by this:--->
Men who drank less than 540 millilitres of sake or wine a
day had an IQ 3.3 points higher than men who did not drink
at all.
Women drinkers scored 2.5 points higher than teetotallers.

the most stupid i did on this test was to NOT finding out my
i.q.!
i simply didnt notice where it stood...
i had 47 out of the 70 points, not very much, but thi logig
in english and numbers were too difficult to me.

but i was amazed that my memory worked very well, normally i
dont remember my name!

This is pretty stupid, my iq is 140+, but it said i'm 99
(average)...I guess if I took one with US terms it would be
easier.

yeh - it's not accurate - just a bit of fun really...which
they should make clear to be fair...i did a decent one
during a psychology course a while back and got 120ish...did
one online a feew months back and got 150+....scored 109 on
this (am convined the one that proclaimed me a genius was
the most accurate! heh,heh)

nod, I take it with a grain of salt... but still, it
would've been nice to have gotten a higher result... :)

im guessing that the influx of iq tests on the internet are
just excuses to find out your email address so that they can
spam you - either that, or a good way to do subtle
advertising on their website from their sponsors.

and i really don't see how timing makes someone 'smarter'
per se - with practice, anyone can get a higher score on any
of those tests.. just like school - do enough of your
homework, and you'll do good on the test. :)

agreed man... for me, the timing thing just makes me
anxious, and I don't think as clearly...

yes and being smart easily means not coping in life (me!
me!)

the 'gifted child syndrome' is truly awful. do you know that
one?

fuckin' hell, i hate when they give a tiny amount of time
for every question. it needs to be balanced so i can reuse
time for harder questions. too rushed.

my score: 129

Like someone once said, all IQ tests measure is the ability
to do IQ tests.

I just did the IQ test here: http://www.emode.com

And also got 133. Actually, they are a bit of a load of
bollocks. There are a lot of questions that you couldn't
answer without actually having certain knowledge. And
surely knowledge is no measure of intelligence?

Yeah, lots of them offer "certificates of IQ" you can order
for the low low price of $6.99!!!

What sort a vulgar fuckwitt would put a certificate of their
IQ (even done by a reputable test centre, not some shoddy
internet thing) on the wall? In my book that's like putting
a photograph showing the size of your cock on the wall
behind your desk jsut to remind everyone who comes in what
size it is.
