i'm anxious too, but i don't think you're likely to get an
answer that hasn't been given already and you won't make it
come any faster. phobiazero has answered this enough times
so that you don't need to make another topic.

i personally am just curious as to how far along things
actually are.

for instance:
what sections ARE ready to go up?
what aren't and how far along ARE they?

just some details would be nice.

Hmm...most sites like that revolve around the LAT ('Look at
this') factor than actual content. Although...a flash
introduction page before you go into the site like that
would be nice

noo no flash or shit alike

oh and i can't wait anymore either.. :\ i'm sure they're
pretty busy with it though,

still i don't understand how they could have miscalculated
the launchdate that much, i mean the mainpage first said
something 'bout august (in 2002), imo when you announce such
a date you're quite sure that it'll be ready at that time or
maybe a little later, but it's now like 9 months or so
later
frankly i don't get this,
please don't see this as a 'morton the wise-guy sais it
could've been ready so hurry the fuck up'-kind of remark,
it's just this huge (if i may say so) delay that i don't
get

on the other hand i must admit that it's better to finish it
first and then launch it, instead of launching while it's
only half finished and only half ot the links work
(*cough*watmm*cough*)

:) no offense xltronic-crew , i'm a patient guy

well, if i remember right, phob said he went back and
redesigned some ideas... so that could account for much of
the re-scheduling, but don't let me speak for him... i
really have no idea.

then again, i claimed my album was coming out for the past 2
years, so...

and you know something?

i'm glad i put it off so long.
cuz now it is the BOMB.

the thing is, all sections are heavily integrated into each
other and it would be quite difficult to release one section
before another. it would even be stupid.

as for the "late" release date.... we came up with a few
more ideas which expanded quite a lot and we decided to not
release the site until it's about 100% finished. and lack of
time and internet prohibit us from working on the site for
long periods - i wish i could work on the site 8 hours per
day but thats not the case. we have life outside xltronic,
believe it or not.

thanks for your patience. hopefully you won't get
disappointed once it's launched. don't have too high
expections tho, you may believe we've been working on
xltronic every day since august 8th - but that's extremely
remotely from the truth.

i'm sure those few people that have seen xltronic's
discography already can confirm it's quite astonishing - and
it's not even completed.

bla bla bla.......... you've heard it before......

people doing this for fun and i am losing money each money
due to xltronic...

You've got a problem with raised expectations though. People
were expecting to see the site ages ago, were told it would
be online ages ago, are being told it's pretty damn good,
but it never appears so there's a certain amount of
frustration and disappointment.

You may hate it when people ask where the site is, but
really, you only have yourselves to blame.

You misunderstand, I'm not blaming them for not having time
to work on it, poor connections or whatever. The point is
that there should have been better management of people's
expectations.

What's bullshit? Are we a bit too sensitive to the truth?

Funny, I didn't really give a damn about the new site until
your post but it seemed pretty disrespectful of you to
dismiss those people who wonder when the site will launch.
It's not an unreasonable thing to ask.

Once upon a time there was a launch date and expectations
were sky high. Now we have no idea when the site will
launch. It amazes me how some people can't accept that
others might like an idea of when it will happen.
