Has anyone heard "Mad World" by Gary Jules? It's from the Donnie Darko soundtrack. That song almost brings me to tears every time I heard it and that is very hard to come by for me.

It's not 'happy', it's the same but a bit more 80's production. It's a really good track.

Yeah, the original is a faster paced 80's new wave kinda thing. It's not bad, but not really quite as emotional as the Gary Jules version. Soundtrack and movie are both excellent.

me and my girl are doing a cover of that shit i'm doing beats and bass on my gameboy and she plays classical piano.
she's all glam it's her idea whatever i just like doing stuff with her.
btw i vote for the original. the percussion is sooo great. and gary jules is sappy. which is right on for the movie.

for anyone interested in OWNING the DVD there is an excellent sale at BEST BUY this week, (3 DVD's for 20 bucks, one of which is DD) sale ends 5.3.03!
sorry but this one requires IN store purchase. =/
i already own a copy, there are some other pretty good DVD's on the list as well.
