i started talking about this in my other thread, and i thought it would be a good idea to hold a remix contest for these two tracks: and/or the top 5 contestants will be sent a copy of my soon-to-completed album, "why you were born unnameless with carelessly concealed mental recollection erasures." the cd will be personalized with your winning track at the end. the 1st prize winner will have their remix on the official album as a hidden track, and will be credited in the album notes. you may send in two seperate remixes-a remix for each track using sounds from just that track, or you can turn in only one remix, using sounds from both of the tracks. the deadline for having the link your remix(es) posted on this thread will be the 10th of may. i am not looking for breakdown or restructure of my track, i want a much different composition made mainly with the sounds in my tracks. thank you all for your time, good luck. |

i should have made that clearer. the sounds are from both of them, both songs were made with some of the same sounds. if you are doing two remixes, you can use the 8 clips in either one, but you would only use each seperate full track for each seperate remix. if you are doing one remix, you can use any of the 8 clips and sounds from both tracks. |

i'd do one, only no-one commented on my track i went to all the trouble of linking so as to get an opinion on, so i'm guessing no-one cares or wants to hear lil ole me :D right, well, i'll be off in a huff then. :) though theres some nice sounds in those two, so i might do one just for me |

There's no hidden track or anything, so don't bother looking for it or anything like that, because there isn't one. yeah. *looks nervous" |

it would be cool to put it in the subindice thing of track 1 so you would have to scan back from the fiirst track to hear it. |

well, i've had a stab. or rather hear what you think. i seem to have this thing when musicking where i get started and have a... er... spurt... of what i shall laughingly call 'creativity', then after a bit just decide that nothing else is happening with it and stop. if i get any sort of vaguely positive feedback it might spur me on to improve... anyway, enough waffle. on with the show etc |

good luck. try making the track as spontaneously as possible. i find you can sometimes make better and more interesting music if you don't analyze it much. |
