i can't stand any more of all this. everyone lies and we
don't have a clu of what's really going on. i'ts like 1984

i can't stand any more of people talking about human rights
while they imprision 15 year olds and kill and starve
people... and everyone does it...

i'm done with the cynisism why is everyone else playing the
game?

we all know the lies being said, why are we playing the
game?

blah whatever nana

this is the way it's always been. A revolution wouldnt work,
its too set in stone now, and besides, 20 years down the
line, the lies would come crawling back in anyway. Why dont
you run for president? I enhoy bill hicks' theory on that
one: first day after elections, president gets put in a room
and surounded by his chiefs of staff, they show him the jfk
assassination from a crucial 'new' angle. "any questions"
they ask.

I can live with the lies and the empty election promises.
It's the fucking spelling errors on the net that get to me.
Not just the net either, I haven't bought a newspaper in
years, because of their unprofessionalism. I'm gonna have to
start subscribing to New York Post and read week old news.

this isnt just sad its fucking lame, what are you 13 and
retarded? I mean seriously most 13 year olds around here
arent fucking this lame even, not even close.

But lets see age doesnt limit your stupidity. Why even ask
these lame questions? The world is SHIT, but there is lots
of amazing and great things in it, if you cant find those
things then consider yourself lost and fucking hopeless,
inoccence lost? no, just lame.

will enevr change because we are selfish and thats that.
it's a horrible world but get used to it because it will
never ever ever change.don't focus on the crap stuff , focus
on the good stuff like everything beautifull and music and
other such things.

aphextriplet,

That comment about assasination of the president, is that
supposed to be funny?

This is just a plain old simple case of youth feeling
disenfranchised with the world because they've got no
specific direction, no vision and no goals. All this lies
bullshit is just that; trust me as soon as politicians start
telling (real) lies they'd be out on their earholes quicker
than they could say 'I'm sorry'. So please lets get real.
Lies is one thing, spin is another. And we are all capable
of the later - so lets live in the real world eh.

thanks, well I dont want to sound too harsh, without that
sounding fucking silly because its the interent, but hey
what the fuck huh.

either way, people arent going to help anyone else, and if
so it doesnt work like that you have to want to be helped
asking pointless questions in a manner like this just shows
a useless and sad cry for attention, not help.

Big yawn. The world is fine. This is just the fear and
axienties brought on by adulthood. The World is a nightmare
if you live in Nigeria, Burma, Saudi Arabia or other shitted
up countries. Those people would give someone bitching about
living in the West a good slapping and say "wake up, you
wanna have your limbs cut off, be in slavery or be in fear
of your life!". Please, life is very sweet here. Its a sunny
day, you've got your PC, your music, your games, you've got
yummy food in the fridge, you've even got the lovely fresh
air outside. Come on.

I could.Your right.

material possesions food and ''fresh'' air do not a happy
person make.

and don't do that whole 'think yourself lucky , other people
have crap lives where they dont know where their next meal
is coming from' crap because you can't compare you life to
others.
Your happieness is measured by your un-happyness. You can
only be depressed if you have been estatic, If you've never
been sad you'll never truely know what happy is.and vice
versa.

dude...it's really the fact that you have too much insight
(and expecting too much) about the world, since youre hooked
up too a milliopn thoughts and oppinions (also called the
internet).
Try to look past youre pc and television and find some inner
values.

offline promo from United Kingdom on 2003-04-27 05:24 [#00671951]

anon,

Well sure that is logical. There is only a certain amount of
serotonin (neurotransmitter) so once you get low on supplies
I guess you become a little depressed.

However thats not really my point. People can actually
choose to be depressed. If you're feeling down, just stuff
laughing with someone or by yourself, it'll make you feel a
hell of a lot better. Try it.

On the topic of material possessions. Try not to see
material possessions as an entity in themselves. See them
more a part of the overall overwhealming desire for the
human mind to seek constant fresh and new stimulation and
experiences; and possessions are just part of that
experience. In essence possessions are if you like simply a
conduit for the contact stimulation needs.

the best one can do is work hard and try to be nice to

help as far a s you can.

The world could be seen from so many different angles,
probably as many as there are people living in it. But...
I really think I understand what OK feels - I feel it too,
and I'm 25 yrs old.

The thing is this: all posts here (almost) has taken the
perspective of the ego, the individual, YOUR point of view -
not really going through the effort of trying to put
yourself in the shoes of those 15-18 year old kids that have
now been inprisoned at Guantanamo bay for over a year
without any charges or any trial. What makes a country, that
claims to be "the brightes shining beacon for freedom and
democracy in the world", do these kinds of awful things to
children? Why don't we react? Why do we say - well, look
outside! it's sunny and warm and ladida... ? There are big
crimes being commited right now, as we speak here, but no
one seems to be aware. Well this is partly because of the
successful propaganda machine that has been in development
over the years - even dating back to the 1800's and perhaps
sooner. Average people, who perhaps watches the news once a
day, wouldn't get to know about all the crimes that states
like the USA are involved in because Pentagon won't tell you
about them - and who sits at the Pentagon press briefings?
The major news networks, and they simply repeat that:
Pentagon officials today said that there is an imminent
threat to our country right now and we have to be aware of
this...bla bla bla..
Everything we get fed today should be questioned, especially
what comes out of the American government propaganda machine
because it affects ALL of us!

Lastly... Take your time and read these declassified top
secret documents (only a few really) that outlines U.S.
plans to CREATE excuses to attack Cuba in 1962, something
which could have lead to nuclear war, and how they planned
to achive this by lying to us.

the world is the world, life is life... you can't really
describe them, you have nothing to compare them to really

but i like the idea that we aren't in this forever - nothing
is forever. and i like the fact that we aren't aware of
everything all the time... thanks goodness for that... : )

well sorry. i'd try to live in a bubble but i can't... i'm
sorry that i read newspapers... sorry i noticed the lack of
coherence in society..

sorry, i noticed that it doesn't have to be that way.

if you think think i live depressed all day because of all
this well you obviously took me wrong... did I ever say
there isn't anything worth living in the whole world or
something like that?, i fact I never said unlike you that
"the world is shit", well as i see it this comment from you
portrys the world in a much more worse manner than i did...
i said that the events happening in the world make me sick.
and when i say i can't stand this anymore i mean i'm gonna
take some serious action.

but all you've prove is to be pretty insensitive. but well
what could one expect from somone who likes to gets off at
videos of people getting killed and snuff stuff?..

maybe next time you want to bash someone try asking what
he/shea meant and not try to assume the most lame thing that
comes to your mind... wich gives me the idea that if you
tought that first is because your mind is set on that kind
of low level thinking. And i can only feel sorry for you.

what's stupid about my questions anyway .. could you point
that out? more than questions they were reflections.. but
you obviously didn't get it...

IT IS kinda stupid anyway... as values and moral are human
creations but that's a whole other discussion. and i'm
pretty certain you didn't say i'm stupid for this reason..
so i'll leave these toughts to myself. good luck
