IV VV IV VV VIII

keeps getting better

it just took tops over surripere.

i swear i love those little REALLY faint fucking melodies in
the background

you can hardly hear them
and you have to question yourself if you just herad it

so nice, kinda reminds me of boc to an extent, questioning
the music.

damn this song sucked at first, now it owns meh.

the intro is so hardcore

What I said from the first time I listened to the album :D

Except it doesn't remind me on BOC in the slightest, it i
just an excellent track :D

doesn't remind me of boc, just that feeling of "did i just
hear that? am i imagining that melody in the background"
feel that boc gives me

same thing with that piano on CAP.IV, i fucking LOVE it,

it's so low you can barely hear it, but it's doing so much
in the background that without it (the soft melody), the
song would be nothing,

i've found that too. IV VV IV VV VIII gets more satisfying
for me, even tho i didn't care for it that much at first.

the whole album is awesome. i know a bunch of people don't
like it, but i think it seems like there are more of them
because they stand out more by saying "oh draft 7.30 sucks
blah blah..."

i respect their opinion about disliking it, but it seems
that people are just dragging it out......like i am by even
talking about it

CRAP

i love this album, definately tops :D

maybe Ae releases get better throughout continued listens
because their songs are unprecitable. most other CDs have
songs which are good but predictable, and the satisfaction
tends to wear out after a while.

that's what i've theorized from my experience anyhow..

i guess it's kinda like trying to find more pieces of a
puzzle, as opposed to having everything revealed from the
get-go.

totally agree with you pachi - it's like the tracks keep
evolving, you keep finding things within the piece that make
them come together as you keep listening...i love it

I like the album, but I don't see why everyone likes
surripere so much. imo I think it is the worst track, it is
just way too long, and doesn't really "do" anything. now
theme of sudden roundabout, p.:ntil, v-proc, 6ie.cr...
AWESOME! someone please tell he what you like about
surripere, I do not wish to start a fight, but want to hear
someones opinion.

surripere is a good track. i just love the ambience in the
beginning. the mood it creates is kind of like a nasty
foreshadowing. like a movie score....sci fi only tho.

MY FINAL OPINION BLOCKBUSTER

I find Gantz Graf very disappointing, and Draft, going
pretty much the same line, disappoints me even more, but I
like Draft because it's more accessible, it even has some
hiphop-like beats, and since Gantz Graf is very
inaccessible, I think I don't like it more than Draft, and
since I don't like Confield too, Draft disappoints me even
more, and to think, Gantz Graf has been done years ago and
it's very accessible compared to Confield, if you look at
the same side that we all loved in Draft, which is their
best album up to date, unlike Gantz Graf, which is like a
sudden breakdown after the glory of Confield. Confield
predicted a lot of things that'll be put on Gantz Graf
later, and since I think Confield is very inaccessible in
the same way in which Gantz Graf is not, I think Draft is a
good album, but very subtle and hiphoppy. And since I hated
Confield, I think that Gantz Graf is a big step forward and
that they should know what they're doing, Gantz Graf is
pure
WONDER, I was amazed by its similarity to Draft, which is
shit IMO.

that's the magic of ae. each new album pretty much sounds
like random noise on first listens.

after a while, you start making sense of the tracks, and you
kind of build the tracks yourself by focusing on specific
sounds lost in the chaos.

genius.

i dont think they'll ever bore me. they never did. but
draft is their first album i keep compulsively listening to
after its release. i usually put them aside a few weeks
after it's been released.

i think draft7.30 is fucking awesomahj.. i love all the
tracks

but .. BUT .. where are the fast beats? everything is fairly
slow.. thats my only complaint.. i would've liked to hear
something like track 2 from peel session2 on there, or a
track like acroyear2.. but thats just a minor problem.. i
can do without fast beats.. hehe

reniform puls gets a little hectic by the end.

but i know what you mean, i love those fast tracks too. but
they ended their last two releases with the exact same
concept (tracks that keep getting faster and faster).

i didnt like how cap.iv and lentic catachresis ended.. they
dragged on the fast parts for way too long.. although the
very end of lentic catachresis where it glitches up is
awesom//ahj..

By the way, Surripere doesn't do much for me either
really... the first half is nice, but the second half is
kinda dull...

hey
i just noticed, right before the first bass drum hit of the
first song there is some kinda really faint noise going on.
anyone amp this or know what it is?

reinform puls's greatstanding with me is the ending
sequence... whether or not it is composed or is random it
sounds just right.. and i thought it was neat how drafts
paralleld sort of with confield + gantz graf

except in draft you have the softer staticcy noises in the
VERY end but they are still sound like the noises before it
, you know?

to me its like them saying "look at how easy this is"

I never really noticed why everyone was all jacking off over
surripere, but I guess it really feels like a large anchor
in the middle of the album holding it together, stands out
from the rest
