i want to know some more bands, guys. i'm already in love with Melt Banana and OOIOO, but what else is there out there for me? i few guide lines to keep in mind, i preffer female vocals, and singing in english, but if they fucking rock out, i don't care if they are a bunch of shemales singing in japanese. thanksomuch for you time. |

As with Deerhoof, Blonde Redhead have a Japanese singer, Kazu Makino. I would also recommend Acid Mothers Temple's 'Electric Heavyland'. No vocals, but an album of 100% pure out-there rock. Don't forget Ruins too. |

Theres a guy who plays solo bass by the East exit of Shinjuku station and he rules.. ITs not very extreme, but he plays the bass and it sounds like a whole orchestra is playing. I dont even know his name but he is the coolest! |

Start easy with 'Troubadours From Another Heavenly World', then go for a full frontal assault with 'Electric Heavyland'. They're very prolific. Be sure to check out Kawabata Makoto's solo stuff too. |

i'd like to back up the BOREDOMS!!! recommendation. keep in mind they changed so much that you might hate one album and love another. |
