Can you play with two human players in one Kart? Or does
the AI control one or....?

what? come on, it's not hard to see that the gamecube would
be workin alot harder than any "64" to keep all this action
smooth and consistent, just look at the detail!

you can switch between drives and the shooters in the back,
mid race. Each character has 8 special offensive abilities
when they're in back. You'll need a lot of stratagy it
sounds like.

I'm really dissapointed that Toad is not in this game! Is
anyone else upset by this? I'm thinking about starting a
website to petition to get Toad to be included in the game!
Would anyone want to sign it, or am I the only Toad fan? I
realize the petition most likely won't do anything, but
eventually Nintendo might realize that Toad is awesome, and
should be in more games! Maybe one day, he will get his
own.... I can dream, can't I?

Go 4 it!

Then again,Koopa Troopa wasn't in the 64 version,was he?

It was great to hear Toads wails when he got his ass whipped
on the 64...

the snes version was a little flatter than the 64
one, but the gameplay was surely there :)

couldnt have said it better myself. another thing about the
64 version was that it was SO much easier, i mean rainbow
road with walls?! and the balloons hovering above the
character kind of blocked a tiny but of the screen but not
too much, i liked them better down on the bottom but overall
64 was solid.

I thought 64 was as good as Super, but it was definitely
easier, which was good because if I remember correctly,
150cc on the SNES kicked my ass... TOAD RULES!

The more I think about it, the better it sounds. Besides,
is it even possible for Shigeru Miyamoto to create a flawed
product? I think he's tapped into some immortal creative
force that shares it's secrets with him in exchange for
vintage Donkey Kong arcade consoles.
As for N64 vs SNES , I'm a bigger fan of the Super Nintendo
version myself.. I'd take koopa shells over balloons any
day.
Supposedly the GBA Mario Kart mops the floor with both of
them. Sadly though, as I've still yet to play it, I can't
contribute my widely appreciated insight.

offline Jarworski from The Grove (United Kingdom) on 2003-04-24 01:49 [#00665944]

As far as I'm concerned:

Snes Mario Kart: The best one by far.
Mario Kart 64: Decent 4 player racing, duff battle and 1
player modes
Super Mario Circuit (or whatever it's called) - Nearly the
same as the Snes version - just not as good for some
reason.

I still think this one looks crap. Why change the karts?
Maybe it gives the game more variety but it looks like Wacky
fucking Races.

*looks on eBay at Snes prices*

The GBA Mario Kart DOES NOT wipe the floor with them. It's
great though. Weird hybrid of both of them. It's better
than, say, Night Trap for Sega CD, but what the fuck am I
talking about.

This new one looks SMASHING. I'm pissed off already.

Night Trap for Sega CD? What the hell are you talking
about? If I ever see that game in anyone's anything I'm
going to do a pomme de terre on their whatever's ass.

Well when I was 10 I thought it was really cool to see girls
in lingerie, and Dana Plato is in it. But yeah, Mario Kart
GBA is better than Night Trap by quite a wide margin. Worth
a purchase or a shoplift.

Now, do you think Night Trap is worth purchasing? I was
thinking about getting the Sega CD 32x updated version or
something because Sega CD's video by itself is pure crap.
Unfortunately, my genesis is broken, so I have to get a new
one before I can use my 32x and Sega CD. That system reminds
me of a transformer because you can combine them into a
super system.
