Whats the worst nightmare that you have ever remember? Did
you awake from it all of a sudden, shaking with fear?

ever noticed your worst deams happen when your sick.. i
dunno, fevers always make me have unpleasent dreams
especially when i was younger, every time i had the flu or
something i'd have bad nightmares

ok so anyway this is one from a loooooong time ago:
i was really young so i dont remember all the details... but
i got out of bed and looked out of my window in the middle
of the night, the only light was this freaky red tint
everything had
i had this feeling like we were in a huge war and there was
general anarchy for some reason.. then i looked over at
these two appartment buildings near where i live, and they
started moving around!
they turned into GIANT evil robots, like they were
transformers of some kind!
i was really scared.. i dont remember much else but i think
one of them was heading my way, presumably crushing things
in its path, which i was pretty worried about
there may have been lasers involved too, im not sure

hm.. i guess that may not sound like too cool of a dream,
but it was very scary at the time

the scariest (and oddly humerous) dream ive ever head was
when a friend of mine and myself were walking in some city
ive never seen at night. it was some sort of giant mall
complex, the entire city, elevators all over the place.
anyway, we went up these stairs and its dark outside and my
friend finds a credit card, and attempts to pick it up. then
out of the dark, a giant floating credit card comes out and
knocks him off a building, then i watch him careern down and
fall limply. so i freak out jumping down buildings (i jumped
off buildings, and it didnt hurt me oddly enough) and
running into dead end alleyways until i find this spot, upon
which he tells me he's ok. this dream was so incredibly
vivid i cant get over it. i think that fact alone made it
scary.

theres lots more to the dream that i dont remember. that was
a typical/normal dream for me btw. my dreams are weird 8(

Being sick does give me odd dreams.

I'm not a claustrophobic person but this dream somehow
brings that out. I'm in this so-called big arena with
nothing in it really just a floor with huge walls. So i'm
this tiny little person wondering what to do. Then this
huge blob is coming towards me. And it keeps getting bigger
and bigger. The feeling of claustrophobia and suffocation
start to overpower you a bit...then i usually wake up around
this time.

Other times, other dreams that are reoccuring; I would have
like satan is coming after me. No place is safe, nothing I
can do will save me...i run tiredly and then wake up.

but i only get those when i'm sick.

I had the same dream a few times when I was younger; It's
night, and I'm sleeping in my old bedroom in a cul-de-sac. I
wake up and see that my curtains are wide open, giving me a
clear view of the street.
I look out and it's deserted, everyone is sleeping. To
my right is a hill going down onto the main road and I can
see a dark shape moving up it. As it gets nearer and comes
into focus I think it's some sort of dog. The eerie silence
purveys the usual sense of dread that most nightmares have.
The dog walks a bit further and I can see it's a wolf, and
it's looking right at me. I realise I'm quaking with
fear as it ambles up and looks up at me from right outside
the house. It moves nearer and the house seems to shrink,
like it's sinking into the ground. Before this even sinks in
I'm at ground level and the glass has gone. I scream and
jump out the window, being chased up the hill where I dive
into a garden, rolling onto my back and the wolf launches
itself at me, whereupon I wake up.

I had another where I'm disembodied, and floating down a
corridor which looks like it's made out of human skin. There
are paintings on the wall, horrible torture scenes. I carry
on down the corridor, going round corners but unable to
change my direction, which leads me to a long straight
hallway with a door at the end. I'm terrified as I slowly
proceed down towards it, and as I get closer I can hear a
whistling which sounds like a kettle boiling. It
intensifies, reaching it's peak as I go through the doors
into a round chamber like a small theatre, where there are
numerous people sitting. I swivel towards the right and see
a man standing there with his mouth open, and the noise is
coming from him. I look at the people again for help but
they're all blocking their eyes with their hands. I turn
back and the man looks at me, then rips the skin from his
face, revealing a gleaming white skull. The noise gets
louder and higher pitched and I realise I'm screaming as
well, sweating in bed.

The last bad one I ha

The last bad one I had I seem to have blocked from my
memory. I do remember screaming my head off in the dream,
and I woke my girlfriend up because I was trying to scream
as I was waking up, but I could only manage little "eeks" :D
Sorry if that bored anyone, felt like jotting them down.

This isn't a nightmare, but it's been the only dream I can
remember in a while.

I dreamt that Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf was conducting press
briefings from the greek chip-shop around the corner. I
asked Pete, the guy who runs it, why he let him do it and he
said 'well everyone's needing a place to work, innit?'.

1- Had a dream last year that I took my face off in front of
a mirror to reveal my skull, looked really eerie with my
green eyeballs still in the sockets and that famous evil
skull-grin. My face was like a mask, two halves, front and
back, and I examined both parts in my hands and felt the
''inside'' part of the mask, really bloody and gory. Played
with my hair a bit... which was... odd... then I heard my
mom come downstairs so I put the two halves back on and when
the edges met, it hurt like hell and I woke up with a jolt.

2- Just last week I dreamt that I woke up to hear a bunch of
aircraft overhead, so I went out on the patio and saw
hundreds of cross-shaped alien ships flying in a formation
overhead, all going west. I run in and turn on the TV and I
hear that all the big cities are being obliterated by these
things. We went down to this huge bunker under my house (I
REALLY wish this thing really existed, huge TV and long
winding shiny halls) and watched on the news as humanity got
wiped out.

i watched a rocket launch from kennedy space center and i
suddenly knew it would crash. when it did it created a
nuclear explosion, mushroom cloud and all, but i knew this
one was big enough to take us all out. i left the point of
view of my body on this hill and entered the people of all
ages being torn apart in horror, body after body after body,
i lived their deaths, i woke up sobbing in tears, cold and
shaking and was in shock for about ten minutes, frozen and
confused. i couldn't differentiate it from reality, having
experienced it all first hand.

When I was a kid I used to have a nightmare in which I was
on my primary school's playground when suddenly the sky
turned pitch black, then red. Lava and stuff started falling
from the sky and I couldn't find my way back home where I'd
be protected from the lava. It was quite scary......like the
apocalypse.

It's strange, my most vivid, memorable dreams are ones which
I wouldn't class as purely lucid, but those in which I have
total control over my actions.

Last one that really stuck in my mind was exploring an
island where there was some sort of failed mind control
project, a lot of derelict buildings and these kids that had
been brain damaged. Their adult "teachers" who were
completely sane were all wracked with guilt. I wasn't afraid
during the dream, but it deeply disturbed me afte rI woke up
and I can remember the layout of the island right now, to
the smallest detail. Even graffiti on the walls.

I think it was heavily influenced by reading about montauk
on the internet, but there was also some elements of my own
creation in there.

i have a recurring event that happens in different dreams
but is quite unpleasant.

sometimes in my dreams when i bite my teeth together, they
kind of lock/stick together. when i try to open my mouth, i
can feel my teeth breaking and tearing out of the sockets.
it is extremely painful and it always wakes me up.

A few nights ago I drempt that about Jeffery Dahmer, he ate
off the face of his lawyer, blood everywhere. He was just an
animal, demonic, it freaked me out. My worst dream ever?
One night I drempt my parents were chopping at my sister's
skull with hatchets in the garage, and my other sisters was
being torn apart but a pack of wolves (she was stretchy, 2
wolves were playing tug of war with the carcass, stretching
it out).

uncomfortable dream i had: i'm drunk (or something) as hell,
riding home at night on a chopper (motorcycle) and i'm so
out of it i'm laying down with my back almost resting on the
seat where my ass should be, and can't see over the gas tank
and handle bars, can't see anything in front of me, and i
know it's a problem but i can't sit up, i just keep driving
thinking any minute i'm going to hit something and die.

It's funny, SAWII reminds me heaps about my dreams,
especially the nightmares.

Track 4 Disc 1 (grass) reminds me of the one when I was out
somewhere totally desolate in the middle of Australia, in
like a huge area of that pale yellowish long grass that
blows and whispers with the wind. Anyway, I'm sort of
standing right in the middle and I look up at the sky. Dark
clouds start rolling in, and I feel a few drops of rain on
my back. In the distance I see faintly someone or something
moving. Very very slowly that thing approaches through the
grass. It is about 6 foot tall, and it is the creature
resembling all nightmares. Twisted, sharp wires and points
make up it's deformed swinging arms. Half of it's head had
been maliciously broken off, leaving half a head of long
hair and open skull. It's face was not human. I look into
the woods surrounding the grass field. There are creatures
in the shadows watching me from evey angle, studying my
move. None of them seem to be paying attention to me. The
creature then starts running, it's loud thumping steps
coming closer and closer.

I don't know what to do, I'm stuck in this terrible
situation with no way out. I think what I did was start
running also, while the creature kept it's evil gaze on me,
and the creatures on the forest still stare lifelessly. Then
I realise that the animals are all stuffed probably
work of the creature approaching...

when i was younger i used to see this dream constantly.. i
was paralyzed on a plain, a very tolkienish one, surrounded
by masses of orcs that came closer and closer.. it always
took a very long time. it was very haunting. i was kinda
scared when i saw lotr2; the point where the orcs approach
helms deep is pretty much like my dream

nowadays i see scary dreams of people shouting at me

Describing your dreams to somebody is like trying to
translate poetry. There's no way for the person to render
the atmosphere and pervading feeling of your dream. It
would be like reading the script to Mulholland Dr. as
opposed to watching it.

I had a dream a few days ago that a man was masturbating an
ostrich and barfing his guts out all over the ground.
