any differences ?? i mean i have some plugins and it asks me to choose vst or dxi... is there enay difference between them ??

VST usually works with sequensers with MIDI (Logic, Cubase) and directX with Sonic Foundrys progz (ACID, Sound Forge, Vegas). There might of course be other programs that use VST and directX but this is what I came to think bout now. You can tell what kinda porg you are using too... ;)

for example absynth in fruity... i once used one on dx and one on vst in the same song with no problems ...

Nope, I am pretty sure you need to use the VSTi version (since VST is a Steinberg invention too).

Cut and paste from the Fruity home page: "Since release 3.5 you can use Fruityloops as a VSTi client in your favourite VSTi host (like Cubase, Sonar (using DXi/VSTi adaptor), Logic, Orion, ...
All you need to do is open and instance of the VSTi connection in your host ...
... and all Fruityloops output is routed (in perfect sync) straight to the host application."
I guess that means that you cannot use VSTi's in Frioty but you can use Fruity as a VSTi in f.e. Cubase! =)

i CAN use vst in fruity. and i CAN use dxi in fruity... my only question is if there's some differences, which is better...
