VST usually works with sequensers with MIDI (Logic, Cubase)
and directX with Sonic Foundrys progz (ACID, Sound Forge,
Vegas). There might of course be other programs that use VST
and directX but this is what I came to think bout now. You
can tell what kinda porg you are using too... ;)

Nope, I am pretty sure you need to use the VSTi version
(since VST is a Steinberg invention too).

Did you set the plugin active in the plugin information
device?

Cut and paste from the Fruity home page:
"Since release 3.5 you can use Fruityloops as a VSTi client
in your favourite VSTi host (like Cubase, Sonar (using
DXi/VSTi adaptor), Logic, Orion, ...

All you need to do is open and instance of the VSTi
connection in your host ...

... and all Fruityloops output is routed (in perfect sync)
straight to the host application."

I guess that means that you cannot use VSTi's in Frioty but
you can use Fruity as a VSTi in f.e. Cubase! =)

(If this didn't answer your question, try being more
specific)
