idiots!

you'd think its pretty sinple to send someone the right
record but apparently not.

the record in question had the right label on it but the
record was something completely different. and not only was
it the wrong record but it wasn't even the right size! duh!
can't they tell the difference between a 10" and a 12"
record? for fucks sake...

...and THAT's why I don't like buying things over the
internet!

This "label" - was it barcoded? Mosdt modern inventory
control systems use barcodes and it would be extremely rare
for a warehouse worker to actually look at the product
instead of just taking the item from a bin and scanning it.

So someone came in hung over and mislabeled their
receiving...

1 - its a die-cut sleeve so you can see the artist & track.
no excuse for mis-labbeling the record in the 1st place (yes
it is bar coded)

2 - the catalogue numbers are clearly completely different

3 - the invoice clearly says its a 12" single when the
record i got sent was a 10" - you'd thought they'd check
this even at this stage

they've been quite good to me in the past, its a shame
really. it'll make me think twice before using them next
time.

the only reason i ordered it is because its a tricky release
to find in the shops.

the only consolation i have is that my record i got from
e-bay also came today and its an absolute peach!

ever heard "pump up the l.e.d.'s to red, take some drugs and
shake your head" ? :)

its by aqua regia, on irdial. nice oddball acid track from
1988. they also did a track called big band house which i'm
really desperate to find.

Hey that's cool. Downloading pump the LEDs right now - what
else do you recommend?

I have a policy about buying stuf I like if the label is
good/smart enough to let me have a decent earful..

like gold dust

Wow, that's some pretty raw stuff. It could use some
tweaking, by those Rob and Sean guys you don't like for
example.

just to contribute to the opposing side, i've ordered many
times from juno and find them to be one of the quickest and
most reliable online mailorder shops around.
