I was wondering if anyone can shed some light / verify if they feel the same. I have been drinking for the last 8 years. Usually once or twice a week. If I have had a bad session, the next day I sometimes feel deppressed. Is this normal ? I once read an article about a chemical called gabba that can help. |

I hear you - I usually get feelings from shame (depending on how badly I behaved whilst drunk) to paranoia, to panic to a mild feeling of impending doom.. |

I think it gets worse the older you get as well... I suppose thats why you dont see that many blind drunk old people. |

I thought that. My dad used to drink quite a bit when young, as did a lot of older people at work, but most stop in now. I wonder if it is the same with sports, as you get older the body takes longer to return to normal mode. Thats why hangovers take longer to dissapear. |

I don't get hangovers unless I drink over half a carton or smoke weed when I'm really pissed. I am having a pretty casual comedown at work atm though over the last 4 days I've had ~20 dexxys $50 speed 3 Es $35 ice (smoked) bout 14 cones about a carton 6 shots and about 2 jugs and 2 bulleit bourbon cans at a bar The only bad bits were when I had about 12 dexxys and the ice together and freaked out when i saw the clown song clip by p control. hyperventilated and almost had a ehart attack. |

your emotions are an important feedback device, and frequent alcohol intoxication can interfere with this system. your body is trying to tell you to cut it out. you should listen. every body is different though; some don't respond as quickly, resulting in overconsumption of ice, dexies, cones, speed, e's, etc. moderation is still the key. |

eh nah i haven't been going for very long. i was just a choofer (pot smoker) for ages and then got bored with it. and people here generally styart doing other stuff when they turn 18 and can get into raves etc etc... i don't do a whole lot i know a bunch of guys who over the last month or so have got addicted to smoking globes of rock (ice) like 1 or 2 hundred dollars worth a night.... now THAT's fucked. |

cone = bowl in american slang (i think)....weed. ice = crystals. pretty mch like really pure speed crystals i think. you can smoke it or do lines of it or bunt it (shoot it up...which is what i think some of my not-friends are doing....dickheads) dexxys - ADD tablets. if you don't have ADD they affect you like speed but milder. ritalin is the same except stronger i think. i don't really know much about them... uhh yeah. PS being 20 fucking sucks. i don't want to grow up! i'm still a kid! |

"moderation is for the weak dont be so ageist drugs are for everyone" unless you don't have anything to prove to anyone. i do enjoy some drugs, but used excessively you will see your quality of life degraded. good advice is not "ageist," as you put it. |

dexxys are dextroamphetamine, a pharmaceutical amphetamine that comes in tabs or time release capsules of varying strength. used to be distributed as diet pills, now, as noted, generally only for add. a very clean, even speed effect. very good for focusing your mind, but can flatten your affect and will kill your appetite. some potential for aphrodisiac effects. might leave you feeling irritable. high abuse/addiction potential. combined with cannabis, will eliminate any sleepiness but you'll crash a little harder. amphetamines are very stressful on the body, regular abuse will be readily apparent upon autopsy. more than you wanted to know aka knowledge is power. |
