I also heard they invented the Pizza, or unless they didn't, they atleast changed the way to eat pizza (they never use forks/knives in Italy!), first with a spoon, but then with their hands (and in some cases feet). nah. i'm going to italy for a couple of weeks this summer, me and some mates go by car so i doubt if we will ever see the south of italy (i mean, we come from holland and are probably glad if we even manage to reach the north of italy) are there any places (north/middle italy) you'd recommend to visit? i do want to see something, not only drink and party |

Well, you should go to Venice for sure, it's the best place to visit imo, really a wonderful fairy place. Milan deserve a visit too, 'cos there's the imponent DUOMO, then the big FORZA's CASTLE, etc... Verona is nice with the BIG OLD ARENA (where will play Massive Attack) and it's Giulietta&Romeo land. Then you can go to have some fun in some lake as GARDA (fun and chicks there). If you will go in the center you can't miss a visit to Florence, or Pisa (where there's the famous tower) so... Holland---Milan---Verona---Venice---and then a pause of fun in Garda or (best tour) Holland---Milan---Bologna---Florence---Venice---Verona---Ga rda lake---then back home really tired with about 7.000km on your kilometer more. |
