The last System 7 (777) album I listened to called "The Power of Seven", kind of reminded me of LFO's advance. Not bad at all. Pretty good shit.
Not so much a band, rather a recording collective. Derrick May, Steve Hillage, and Dr.Patterson I believe (among a few other alternates)

I have power of seven and Fire and water, and I like Power of seven, but Fire and Water I think is pretty dull. I never picked up any more of their CDs after that.

Eye, I've got Power of seven, the fire album and the water album. Not to shabby if you ask me. The fire album is the closest to trance that I own (I generally hate trance), without being nearly as terrible as trance.
