brothomstates is a genius! and of course, one of our
featured artists....!

"brothomstates vs billyard" was frequently played during our
last years xltronic meeting. theme of the weekend, so to
speak.

its very accessable electronic music. nice sweet melodies.
the lead track 'qtio' from qtio ep is just awesome, hard
crazy distorted voice mixed with wicked beats and a great
dark melody.

I´d say experimental ambient. But still no... It´s hard to
put him in a category. (Which tells a little about how good
he is as artist.)

esa, thats not his latest gig, he performed last friday in
helsinki.. missed it, it was k22 and as a little teen
princess i had no chance in getting in.

it was a part of the kiasma media something something, with
visuals as well as audio.

(hi esa 2.)

He's a master of restrained IDM technique. Very subtle,
with lovely beat patterns. Took me a while to get into his
stuff (I bought Qtio after hearing Adozenaday on a Sprite
ad) but there are some gems on Claro. Mdrmx and Viimo for
example are lovely tunes.
