the concurrent war on american civil liberties continues (though taking out a few embarassing johnny-come-latelys in the rave culture with the visors, orange pants, glowsticks etc, really doesnt bother me) click

Cracking down on Rave Parties is a good thing. But the RAVE Act has the potential to umbrella over many non-rave gatherings, and that is very, very frightening.
Send a fax to John Ashcroft and let him know you do not approve.

Try the UK's Criminal Justice Act - It's the first legaslative document since the days of the Third Reich to define a music style by its characteristics. Plus why is it good to crack down on rave parties? they are and were an integral part of dance music culture.

because of poseurs who make a mockery of everything.. those who are responsible for the media/drug-war crackdown on ecstacy (a drug that, w/fda approval could have been quite useful) and shit like "go"

cracking down on rave culture because ravers take drugs makes no fucking sense... politicians are the most scatterbrained motherfuckers out there...
how about just arresting drug takers/drug distributors/drug growers? why on earth do you have to outlaw partying to do this?!
