I just love the way they look, especially all those knows screaming to be twiddled. :) and they sound real good too.
Anybody on the board has K4-K5 or K-station or played around with it? Is it really worth the price?
The remote25 midicontroller is also quite impressive but I guess you can use one of the synths in the exact same manner.

I love the K machines, the amount of times i've 'demoed' one of those in the shop is a large amount :)

LOL, I always feel guilty asking to demo stuff in store knowing full well I have no intention of buying it/can't afford to. I sometimes need to demo stuff to get the willpower to save up for it though...

Either of you got experience of the Evolution Pro Controller 61? I'm considering getting one as
a) I'm awful at keyboard and hoping this will inspire me to learn to plaly better.
b)I'll be able to score better. c) It has rotary controllers on board so I can use keyboard and midi remote at the same time.
d) I don't want an oxygen keyboard as I've heard they're not very good.
e) Not too expensive f) I just want midi- not something that can make its own sounds...
Worth the money?

I personally think so, i'm gonna get one of those for my laptop very very soon.
It's both USB and Midi compatabile and there are rated very highly, the fact they have knobs on is even better so you dont have mess around with the mouse on the computer
I rate 'em Ceri

Cool, I think it has eclipsed my need for a scratch mixer :)
I like the fact it's usb too- means I can use my existing midi controller on my midi port at the same time (31 assignable controllers that way!)/on my other PC.
Any idea what the build quality is like? I know they're not metal, but do they feel solid and robust? I dislike fragile feeling music equipment...

I know that demoing trick. :) It's a real dillema. Due to special discount, it's possible to buy a K4 for about ¤900. The discount ends next week. If I go for this one, it means I have to wait a while to get my laptop setup. Maybe I should start hitting on some richer women. :)

I know the feeling- seeing something discounted/cheap 2nd hand and buying it even if you can't really afford to as you know it will be more expensive in a couple of months time :/
He he, time to marry a wealthy widow with a terminal disease methinks ;)
