matrix 3, LOTR 3, the hulk.. man, bunch of sequels and comic
book movies. if only we could harness these big budgets and
creative directors for something INTERESTING.

dude...i think that though it's a teen movie, Final
Destination pulls it off with a fairly innovative plot

erm, why is terminator3 in a list of GREAT movies?
This is going to be an empty vessel, a cheapass cash-in on
the franchise.
Arnie needed the money, and since he's lost all his credit
due to his previous 6 abominations of movies he has no
choice but to go back to this shit.
With no James Cameron to helm it or bring the story, it's
his brainchild so they shouldn't have allowed some turd to
come up with a part 3 that makes no sense.
That trailer had the impact of a straight to video B-movie.
Utter crap.

erm... none of these listed look to be that great of movies,
especially Final Destination 2, I'de rather wipe my ass with
a cactus than ever have to see this movie again...

The only one of those I'm interested in is Matrix
Reloaded... even though I know the acting will make me sick,
it'll be fun and look really cool regardless.

Everything else on that list can go right in the toilet.

Final Destination pulls off nothing, it's a worthless pile
of shit. "Oh, everyone dies" does not make it any more
interesting.

matrix two and three are coming out

phone booth will probably rot as it is being directed by
Joel Schumacher.

i saw the first Battle Royale it was excellent. its
about a future island in japan where they send 1 middle
school class once a year to kill eachother untill only one
kid is left. It had Beat Takeshi in it at the island
head-master.
it was hillarious. it didn't get a U.S. major release
though. you can get it on japan region coded DVD.

and x-men 2... I was so utterly disappointed by the first
one, the thought of the sequel just pisses me off... better
they should scrap the first one and make it the proper movie
it should have been

yeah Final Destination 2 is bound to suck just like the
first one.

The only fim on that list i'm looking forward to is Battle
Royale 2...

Other hopefully great films coming out are:

Hero - Zhang Yimou's new martial arts epic which will no
doubt be better than most films this year but with MiramAxe
holding the rights to it dont expect the full version to hit
the cinema screens.

Dark Water - the new film by Hideo Nakata (who directed the
original Ring film)

and the Tim Burton film Big Fish, which will hopefully come
out this year.

oh and of course Return of the King :)

Hollywood movies seem to be getting worse and worse, i
thought the facination with special effects would die
down... oh well.

I saw Anger Managment with my girlfriend saturday... it was
pretty good, funny as hell, but I think I came in with too
high of expectations because of Jack's presence. Still a
dawm funny flick, highly recommended for all you comedy
fans.

Punch-Drunk Love finally appeared in a local arthouse cinema
here, so I went along and saw that yesterday.

Fantastic stuff.

They all seem like good movies but I doubt if I see anyone
of them except for

LORD OF THE RINGS:THE RETURN OF THE KING!

I LOVE YOU ARAGORN!

I've been dying to see it....my 2 sisters saw it, one didnt
like it as much as the other so I'm the tie breaker, I just
havent had time to see it.

The soundtrack is sweet though.

True corngrower, they probably all suck except for matrix
reloaded in the list, and I'll give X-men 2 a try 2.
Can't understand why Lotr:Rotk isn't in that list and if you
put matrix reloaded in the list then why not matrix 3 too
since it'll come out this year too.
How bout Ang Lee's the Hulk, I'm curious about that one.

"they probably all suck except for matrix
reloaded in the list"

do you really think Battle Royale 2 will suck? It has the
same Director and Writers as the first one so i doubt it
will.

Matrix 2 - i'm curious to see this, even with keanu(bad
actor) in it.....ehehhe the first one was so original, and
trinity kicked LOTS of ass!!

X-Men 2 - i hope it's BETTER than the first one.....ehehe i
want NIGHTCRAWLER in this one.

Phone Booth - missed seeing this movie this weekend =/ i
plan on seeing this SOON.....colin is an amazing actor

Terminator 3 - dunno where they will go with this one, but
i'll def go see it to see what they come up with!

Battle Royale 2 - i wanna see the FIRST one FIRST.......t
hee

Final Destination 2 - pass......the title to this movie is
an oxyMORON!

i'm more interested in independent, foreign films than these
big ole blockbusters.......so thats what i'm looking most
forward to, but the blockbusters usually have a couple hours
worth of interestin' stuff!!!

Kill Bill may be interesting; T. hasn't let me down yet.
(i.e. Pulp, Resevoir, and Jackie)
