been having an increasing amount of problems with pop ups
randomly "popping up" on my screen... something that calls
itself "messanger service"
anyone had the same problem?
anyone know how to combat this?

Disable the messenger service. If you're on 98 or ME, you'll have to disable
the messenger port on your firewall. I don't remember the
port number.

Yeah I have the same problem and others I know too.

Dunno how to combat it, but I trust that Inverted Whale's
solution is the right one
