sorry for another topic but a new autechre track is out. on this track they get all ambient, in fact, it could fit right in on amber. some vague percussion comes in halfway(it's 12:14 mins long). I dunno what to say, it came unexpected. good track though. |

can't wait to hear this one. the original spangle is a really nice track. it's on artifical intelligence 2 (warp) for those on yous who didnt know. best track out of the 10 on that cd i reckon. you should defo check it out if you haven't heard, xlt kids. |

now playing it, i don't know what the original is like but this remix is great... =) (i like best the part without the percussion though) it reminds me of the temple of the forest in zelda: ocarina of time. |

Just on that discog entry, it reads like "Spangle" is the name of a group. In fact Spangle is the track by Seefeel that Autechre remixed. Also, the track was originally on Seefeel's "Starethrough" EP on Warp. |

i just got this in the mail the other day...and i'm really kindof disappointed with it. i almost want to say "it sucks", but i like it just enough to call it "really bad". well...hmm. i s'pose i should point out, though, that i was expecting something more "autechre" when i started listening to it. and it is getting pretty old, right? guess my expectations were a little high. oh well. as just a track it's alright, i s'pose. i wouldn't have gone to the trouble to order it from warp, though. heh. ;] |
