i personally thought it was a mess, its been a while since i've seen it but I seem to remember Lopez being terrible in it.It was like she was trying to show off (almost posing) to the camera everytime it was on her. Thats how i remember it, though it was late and i lost interest in it about halfway. |

"the straight story" how awesome is that film? I just got it on DVD and its my second fave Lynch film now (behind Eraserhead of course :) i haven't seen Blue Velvet yet :( i'm still waiting for a decent DVD edition to come out over here... |

you need to see blue velvet... in order to know why dennis hopper is valid as an actor, one must have experienced blue velvet in the dark, in a creep mood... he is... well, let's put it this way... his introduction in the movie involves bourbon, scissors, nitrous oxide, a rape scene, and split personalities (daddy and baby)... and thats just his character's intro!!!! |
