Turn off Draft 7.30. Or Confield. Now go back and listen to
some Tri Repetae.

Fuck it's amazing! It a different way of course, but I
forgot how much I used to enjoy Autechre's old stuff...It
also seems a little more varied to me (I mean, there's
nothing on Draft I could relax to, like Overand from Tri
Repetae.) Incunbula is surprising enjoyable too (if slightly
immautre sounding) and has a great atmosphere, and a nice
variation of tracks.

Still, Draft 7.30 is great fun, but I feel in my opinion
that Autechre's new directions doesn't allow for as much
variation as their old stuff (although, Confield proves me
wrong in that...the lovely moods of tracks 1 and 9, compared
with the harsher moods of 6, and 3...etc..)

Er...I dunno what I'm trying to say to be honest.
Just..um...go listen to Tri Repetae, ok? :D

Wow, I've always hated Rsdio but now it's really impressing
me...perhaps it's all that "training" from their weirder new
stuff. : )

Incunabula is the only Ae recording I don't care for in the
least. I like it, but it's not even in the same ball park
as anything else. It's nice enough but it's too repetetive,
too limited by the technology. In one way it produces a
nice, dated, analogue-ish sound, but on the other hand it
just sounds like a good LP that was completely unfulfilled.
Bike and Meatl are great, but overall it's boring.
Tri Rep, however, I feel is their best work. Best thing
ever made IMO, but that's another story.. :)

Yeah, I agree on Incunabula-but it has a nice atmosphere,
even if it is simple and repetitive.
