food evening young idm'ers (and old, but no-one is old)
i have just walked all the way from my house to uni, it only
took as long as the 'radio head-kid A' album, literally,
from my house to the library revolving door....at the end of
my quest i found that i appreciated radiohead in a way i
never thought i would... they are great and have captured
the undertones of the 'warp' sound.

have any of you appreciated anything like this before with
music, or can you only listen to cerstain music in certain
situations?
the florr is open to you...

Yep, I greally got into Geogaddi after walking down the
woods at night listenin to it on my stereo. Cliche I know,
but it's how it should be listened to...

Another one is driving on remotre roads at night listening
to a []>er mixtape including beep street, ufo over
leytonstow, I wish you could talk, tundra, etc. that really
cemented them as some of my fav tracks.

well, i've had many many situations where listening to an
album just fit the moment perfectly, but that usually
doesn't mean that the album, for me, is suited for the same
circumstances anytime, rather it was just a special moment
that was meant to be.

for example, i once listened to mum's 'finally we are no
one' as i went to sleep. i feel asleep in much peace
somewhere in the middle and woke to the earlier part of the
last track and it was so beautiful i began to sob. can't
exactly recreate that just by throwing in the disc at
bedtime.

were you out of the woods when you listened, or in the
woods?

Oh and Lustmord's "early document..." is ideal for a mid
afternoon sleep.

you must be quite far away from your uni...

good evening to you as well! ^^

woah....that's freakish...
it never happened to me...anyways, i have had another
revelation...i am happeier on the net talking in virtual
reality than i am with anyone i know personally...

do you just get those days when you feel unhappy being
everywhere? it has a sligh association with the feelings
that i had when i was going through my teenage
years..."no0one understand, there's no-one like you out
there....what's the point of trying?"
you know...but i am not a teenager anymore (and i am not on
my period)...so....i think i might be having a mad moment of
geniousess block!

my typing has gone to shit too...excuse the crappy
penmanship...

i must live about 2-3 miles from uni, up a large gradual
slope, called 'keele bank' (shuold be hill)

i think you ment walking in the woods, you savoured onto the
last moment when you came out he woods..(we have woods
here...they are called keele woods)....

Sorry, I was "in" the woods whilst listening. I was out of
the woods after just over half way through the album.

I say walking "down" the woods as the woods are downhill
from where I live... sloppy english for, "down through the
woods".

I don't know if I should say what was going on when Prefuse
73's Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives was playing in the
background... ;)

Let's just say I appreciate the album a lot more now in
hindsight.

lol...yeah, that reminds me of a tale i once
experienced....
it was the honey moon period between me and my new found
love partner 'ryan' and i was in love with tri rep (ae) at
the time.....the album always seemed to sound different
everytime we had **cough**...i mentioed this to sean from AE
and he said (tongue in cheeck) that that is what the album
was recorded for or made in, or something....

lol..lol
:o\

I had this horrible comedown that forced me to walk for
about 5 hours around this massssive park near my house. I
listened to Kettel's Smiling Little Cow and Plaid's Rest
Proof Clockwork and sopme other stuff, but those albums
saved me!

I have heard absolutely FUCK ALL massive attack

and unfinished symphony or unfinished sympathy or something,
which was fucking cool.

it's less like hip hop album and more like an ambient, but
in a good way..

I reckon it has more life than the last album though, also,
I'm dead certain they sampled some autechre on it too..

Ahhh I totally not expect to hear such great words about
Radiohead, well I have a radiohead story too, I walk 3 miles
everyday and I usually take my CD walkman if I'm walking
alone and I heard Radioheads Hail to the Thief, and it was
fucking amazing I loved it, I only heard abour 6 of the
songs but they were all great. And NO its not my burnt Cd
its a friends and since I heard so much talk about it here I
asked him if I could borrow it =)

But now im pissed so fuck it

one thing i hate about Radiohead is I can sing one song and
go into another one, then sing a part of one song and not
know what the fucking name of the song is.

titles and releases and catalogue numbers and things like
that, maybe I should get a job in a record store

I have the worst memory too!!!!! but its bad I can watch a
movie and not remember what the fuck happened until I really
think about it. But I'm good at mesmerizing, I think thats
the only way I got this far into school.

I always put on "Licensed to Ill" when we're driving around
stoned.

You pump it up really loud and rap along to it, yelling out
the windows.

After a few bars I can't stop laughing!

"I drink brass monkey! and I rock well!
I got a CASTLE in BROOKLYN that's where I dwell!"

Hello Nastay is fucking good BUT
Paul's Boutique DEFINITELY beats it
and I'd argue that
Check Your Head is at least on par.

You just can't fucking beat them. and their clips rock.

Also I'm well into Cypress Hil
