these are some cds i found in shops, please tell me what ones you like best and least so i can know what ones to buy... autechre- draft pink floyd- dark side of the moon rerelease boards of canada- twoism plaid- remixes plaid- (that white album with the blue horse and duck and something else on it, i forget) mum- (that green album with the pic of a rocket on it) jimi tenor- higher planes |

i'll rate the ones i know autechre draft 7.30 - 9 pink floyd - dsotm - 10 boards of canada - twoism - 8.5 plaid - double figure - 9.5 |

the only one i know from these is Double Figure and it's pretty good (though i prefer Not For Threes)! i wanted to buy Feed Me Weird Things but they didn't have it, so i looked around and there was this album... i hadn't heard any Plaid before but i bought it after listening to a very short snippet in the shop - because it was on Nothing Records and Warp Records, there was pretty good chances for it to be good! and it was a very good surprise indeed. : ) you can watch the video for New Family if you search a bit the official warp website... Assault On Precinct Zero is a very nice song, and i was playing Manyme on repeat some time ago (couldn't get enough of it, it's the only one with lyrics, sounds a bit pop but i like it). |

i have to wonder if these ratings of 9 and 10 are honest....i almost never give any music higher than an 8 and ill be very surprised if the very very best music ive ever heard is all in the shop right now a-waitin my purchase..... |

autechre- draft I don't like ae but I actually didn't mind this one pink floyd- dark side of the moon rerelease Don't give them the satisfaction, this album is over-rated and almost all re-releases are for money grabbing reasons boards of canada- twoism I've said it before, I'll say it again - Tomy's "My First Album" plaid- remixes Stupendous. plaid- (that white album with the blue horse and duck and something else on it, i forget) Double Figure - probably the best overall of Plaid's albums imo mum- (that green album with the pic of a rocket on it) jimi tenor- higher planes And I dunno these two :) |

I haven't heard the pink Floyd or Jimi Tenor. Plaid Remixes was disappointing, but I've only listened to it once. The rest is all good. |
