i got draft too today, picked it up this afternoon at rare-records. i love it already, tracks 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 are totally great, the others also though, i'm sure they'll only grow more on me nice :) nice |

"go ahead :)" hehe... well actually i'm not really convinced by Draft yet. When i bought confield i instantly loved those tracks. But this... i dunno... it somehow sounds dirtier and messier than confield. Some of the tracks are very beautiful for sure... but others i really don't like very much (yet? some idm needs alot of time to grow on me :-)). I don't remember which one in particular stood out for me... i need some more time with it. A strange thing about this album though, is that almost all of the tracks seem to dramatically change halfway through. Suddenly the entire mood shifts, sometimes i mistakingly think a new song has started :-) Maybe the album was originally called "sudden roundabout" because of that, and the track #6 is still a reminder of that workingtitle ;-) |
