Try Harold Budd / Brian Eno - The Pearl.

I don't know how close it is to the tracks that you
mentioned, but it fits your description.

thanks, i just checked all 11 songs samples and it sounds
just like waht im looking for
im going to order it-i'll wait for some other
recomendations, just to save a bit on postage :)

this dehli9 are much alike the pearl, perhaps a bit more
classic piano oriented and with some more electronic sounds,
but quite similar in general

I guess it's not the stuff you're looking for but when it
comes to piano, I enjoy the soundtrack from 'The Piano'
alot. Great movie too.

you should really just check out some of the
avant-masters... like the john cages, the Stockhausens, the
Saties, etc.

and cool jazz pianists too like, Cecil Taylor, and Bill
Evans....

hey, im buying anything by kruder or dorfmeister! i dont
even need to hear it first :)

i kind of prefer classical piano works to jazz stuff
(beethoven is just awesome)

I agree 100% Beethoven is incredible
Especially the moonlight sonata

Currently Im trying to figure out the first movement to the
Pathetique sonata I believe its called "Grave" (the timing
maybe?)

What about JS Bach? "Air" by him is a damn good song as well

not exactly along the lines of what you're looking for, but
chopins nocturnes and ballades are excellent displays of
virtuoso piano skills.
and definitely satie nocturnes, gymnopodies and sarabandes
if you're after drukqs style piano music.

1506/7
slow hell

Erik Satie is THE master in the area i would say.
Bill Evans is really really good.
Even Aphex Twin has some very sweet Piano Tunes.
an Autechre remix... Aswell

But Erik satie really puts me over the moon when it comes to
piano.

".... ......." «------ the Master
