of drum'n'bass.

I've been listening to it again lately and I think its one
of the best "well known" genres.

Here are some great tunes to d/l,they maybee a little hard
to find.....

Dillinja and Lemon D-that amen track (a classic)

upoint-Hydrogen beats(nice indian/easten jungle beats)

Mr frost-technocast(exellnt old skool jungle with a killer
bassline)

Upfront-work it out(one of the best beats ever)

f111-pause(one of the best tracks ever written!hardly d'n'b
its very chilled great melody,a must have)

v4-happy days(nostalgic track,exellent synth,very good.)

aj-rhythm dreams(THE BEST D'N'B TRACK I'VE HEARD!yOU LIKE
JUNGLE,YOU'LL LOVE THIS!)

There are many others but these are all rarities, must
haves.

Thanks for the recommendations TonePu5her, drum and bass is
a genre I've been wanting to explore beyond Squarepusher and
Aphrodite.

you can find a clubnight for w/o dificulty and the
pretensiousness of your typical dnb head of a few years ago
is on the decline...

its almost crossing into trance in some parts.
it put the wind up all the other artists back and said
"follow this fuckers"
i also like bad company and joker records;)
plus a big shout out to the mighty V recordings

Ive gotta say yeah edrush and optical all the way. try their
early stuff, edrush on NUT and optical on 31records and
metro records. btw earlier someone seperated dom & roland,
but dom is a bloke but roland is his synth/sampler! sorry!
other edrush and optical techstep/darkstep like trace, nico,
fierce, etc are all good. discogs.com and check 31 records,
prototype records, virus recordings, no u turn records. also
ram records but thats a different sound!

all i've seen in this thread is drum&bass recommendations. i
dont understand why people talk about jungle as if its
something totally different.

ed rush & optical is supposedly tech step. well it sounds
like drum&bass to me, just a different style, but that
doesnt mean it cant be called drum&bass anymore. ltj bukem
is completely different too, but imo its still drum&bass.

Rufige Kru- Terminator
- Manslaughter
-Base Metal (fuckin wickid cool!)
DJ Kalm- Close Range
Dillinja- Acid Track
- Angels Fell
London Electricity- Dirty Dozen
Sci-CLone- Everywhere I Go(DJ Patife Mix)
Shy FX- Bambataa Back to the COre (dillinja mix)
Marcus Intalex & ST Files-Universe
-Revolution
-My Soul
4hero & Goldie -A Better Way (marcus intalex mix)
J Majik-the Lizard
-Solarize
Jonny L-Tychonic Cycle
SUV-Black Sombrero
-Flying To Nowhere
Krust-Bad Intentions
-Cloaking Device
-Last Day
Die-To Step
-Running Out

... goddam, making this list brings me back so hard...
drum'n'bass was a necessary steo for me to get to drill and
other abstract electronic... and if it didn't mean being
subjected to north american crap'n'bass i'd go clubbing in a
second...

it's well known that tech-step is just a style of drum&bass.
just like ltj bukem style is "intelligent", there's alot of
varity in drum&bass. jungle is the same as dnb, but i liked
to think of jungle as more organic sounding with sampled
70's funk breaks and piano samples: 'old school drum&bass'
