Shit, sorry. Yeah I forgot I'd posted this then went for
food. Where was I?

Yeah, OMG it was so fuycking cool. Been there about 2 hours
and practically walked into AFX just ambling down the road.
I resisted the urge to run up like a little fan boy and just
casually carried on. Got fucking drunk. Wayched Ceri wrestle
with his mate in a homo-erotic way. Felt leftout so joined
in. Got stoned. Ate chocolate.. Saw Public Enemy walking
past. Said hello. American with us casually qwanders up to
Rob Brown and says hi. I didn't know who he wsas chatting
too so wander over too. Porbably made a twat of myself. We
rung Keyfumbler. He was too twatted to be coherent. Kept an
eye out for Phiz. No see. WSaw aron funk in the flesh. Fuck
he's tall. Nordic. Asked te merchandise lady why there was a
snares T-Shirt wrapped up with his name on it. She said he
was buying it. The nutter actually buys his own merchandise
?!?!?! Saw Hecker. Fucking awful. Not my taste. Saw
Koolmaste Keith, shite compared to PE. Saw Sonic Sum.
RUuuuuuuuuuuude! Paidrespect to te Bassist in person. Saw
Aphex. FUCKING MAD AWESOME SET! PLAYED STUFF THAT SOUNDED
DRUQKSY BUT WASN'T ON THE ALBUM, PLAYED STUFF THAT COULD'VE
BEEN SMOJPHACE. He fucking rocked. Got drunker still. Smoked
too many fags. Annoyed too many people. Watched too much TV.
Drove home too fast (100MPH)

Just woke up and saw this. I'll do a proper post
tommorow...

Giginger: I just woke up after a prolonged lucid dreaming
session. I just dreampt you came in to the room I was
sleeping in and woke me up, commenting on the music that was
playing (the particular track really was playing in the real
world on my MP3 playlist :) ). Obviously I spent too much
time with you....

user who used to post as rephlexual:
Was it you I saw when I got Hi Scores? You gave me a look of
recognition and looked vaugely familiar (if your old avatar
really is you). I only realised when I got home why.

I have a fun ATP themed/lightsaber crossover themed avatar
planned whihc you can expect to see in the next few days.

Oh and giginger, I may as well admit now I didn't manage to
get any snares footage... I was asleep as the whole schedule
was pushed back a few hours due to "something" happening in
the main building (if anyone knows what, please post).

Keyfumbler: Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet up, email me
and I'll arrange to post the CDs I made for you to you.

Did it involve crying and wanking?

Don't worry about the footage mate. Get your welsh ass on SS
though.

Just a teaser "review" bit- Snares had a singer accompanying
him in his set... a female opera type one if the American we
stayed with is to be believed!

Amusing fact: We met a guy who makes those penis enlarging
pumps you get adverts for on the net. I resisted the
temptation to strangle him on principle once I realised he
probably wasn't the person responsible for spamming
me about them (although I foolishly fgave him my email addy
in a drunken state :/)

Played some good chess in the games room, really good games.
I only got beaten on the final night and for that the guy
got a demo CD from me as did select individuals who were
obviously partying hard and I took a shine to.

Sonic Sum were excellent, having only heard one of their
tracks befor eI was very pleasently suprised. Although their
DJs could of benefited from some basic lessons in dampening,
but to be fair it wasn't entirely their fault as they had an
awful metal legged table to put the decks on.

Zoviet France were very good- a nice relaxing warm up for
the weekend. I've been menaning to check some of their stuff
out for months now and this was a good introduction to
them.

Bola cancelled which was a bit of a shame, I have it on good
authority that he cancelled (at least) the day before. At
the time I was annoyed as it was only announced at ATP 1 1/2
hours before, but in hindsight it was the organiser's fault
not his (that we weren't notified earlier).

Aphex Played what was easily the best DJ set of the weekend,
a lot of indian inspired dnb, bit of electro-ragga and also
some stuff that sounded very drukqsy and a few other tracks
that seemed to be his. He only looked up during the tracks
that sounded like his, so perhaps he was trying to gauge the
audience's reaction...

Earth were pants.

I need to get the film developed first, I'll do it this

No, I didn't see the dunes on fire! Merch. was nice, but I
forced myself not to buy any as I barely have enough money
for petrol to get to work at the moment, let alone £15
tshirts. All I picked up was hi scores 12" for £3.50 which
was too much of a bargain to resist :)

Any idea why there were police on site on Sunday? I just saw
them driving out.

Also, what happened on Sunday night that delayed everything?
ATP TV suddenly said "main building now open, events back
on" and I wasn't aware it had closed!

Amusingly, he's anti-war, he just thinks now we're there and
there is no chance we'll pull out, protest serves no
purpose and can only be negative.

the only thing i thought odd was that it was an army
helicopter (2 proprllers) .....it seemed to be projecting a
mega spotlight on the ground...i dunno if they found what
they were lookin for though..... maybe a publicity
stunt.....bomb scare.....the alarms went off after the fucka
was here wich i also found odd....

protest can be done in a harmless way.....its just a
question of wantin people to hear your opinion...wich all
humans should be aloud....
its like people sayin radiohead suck for callin their new
album "hail to the thief".....
i think if people have the ability to get messages across
then fair enough....anyway....

Oh right, a chinook? When was that?

I reckon someone rang a terrrorist attack in as cheap way of
getting some nice "effects" paid for by the taxpayer. Either
that or someone really annoyed with Bola cancelling!
;)

Sorry, I didn't explain that well-

A german user (Patrik I think?) was asking about the music
tech course at Keele a few weeks back. I remembered that you
went there and advised him to get in contact with you to
find out what the uni was like, if it was a nice area to
live etc.
