boom bip / req / newcleus / squarepusher / tortoise / hood /
t. raumschmiere / neil young / seefeel / alog / ...........

click -here- to access past playlists

click -here- for the link to the windows
media player stream (for best play, reboot your computer and
don't run too many applications at once)

30 minutes from now...

thanks as always and enjoy!

yea it's me... i'm supposed to be the 2nd show of the day
(making my show, what, the 2nd shittiest timeslot of the
week? fuck you very much WDCV..) but the dj's before me
didn't show up, i guess because of daylight saving's time.
still, it was annoying to have to get the key from the
conference center to open up, start up, etc.

i do the show mainly for myself but it's a lot more fun when
people are listening, and i know that everyone who listens
to hear at least one new artist they like....

awesome tune

Yeah, i agree, i havent listened to 26 mixes that much, it

alot

are you taking requests?

btw, get at me when you're off the air so I can finally ask
you what I wanted to last week

offline theo himself from +- on 2003-04-06 08:33 [#00634751]

and who is this now? it sounds familiar

(the track after seefeel)

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2003-04-06 08:45 [#00634774]
Points: 14550 Status: Lurker

the seefeel was your request BTW... glad you heard it

after seefeel was the phil ranelin track "wife" remixed by
prefuse 73

i take requests but rarely during the show cos the playlist
is pretty tight.. not necessarily "pretty fly", but
literally packed with songs i want to play

offline theo himself from +- on 2003-04-06 08:46 [#00634778]

is that phil ranelin remix from that hefty records double
album?

if you can, play "verbal intercourse" by wu-tang/nas

offline Murray from Southend, Essex (United Kingdom) on 2003-04-06 08:50 [#00634787]

Can you give a shout out to Kincade?

Who's the Bass guitar player, this track is pretty cool
Titsworth :) is it Squarepusher?

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2003-04-06 08:58 [#00634798]
Points: 14550 Status: Lurker

it's an hour long single disc with tracks by 10 different
remix artists

there's no way i can play any nas or wu-tang; i'd love to,
but it's 10am and 1) it'd be hell on the censors, and 2) i'm
not really in the mood for hardcore hip-hop when i just wake
up

Murray, who is Kincade? how do you say it?

offline Murray from Southend, Essex (United Kingdom) on 2003-04-06 09:00 [#00634803]
Points: 4891 Status: Lurker

Kin-Kade (Kade is prounced the same as Made, but with a K in
front)

Kincade is my music name, sorry i'm being horribly cheeky
here, but it would be cool :)

no the bass was his influence, jaco pasteuris [sp?] doing a
live solo w/ his band weather report.... 70s shit

offline Murray from Southend, Essex (United Kingdom) on 2003-04-06 09:01 [#00634806]

oh shit i said that wrong, its just pronounced Kin-kade

Sorry Titsworth to confuse you forget the pronouncing thing
i said before, pay attention to this one

And im starting a new band very soon with 4 other fellow
music makers :)

ok, what was that joy division song's name?

and where's a good place to start exploring notwist? they
dont have a very extensive discography thus far.. but is
whichever one came out last year something worth getting

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2003-04-06 09:46 [#00634899]

"in a lonely place"... the only true joy division recording
of it is a soundcheck on the boxed set

i played the new order version from substance

buy the US version of the notwist's "neon golden"... for
about $11 you get the album that blew up all across europe
plus 3 american bonus tracks (at least 2 of which were
previously unreleased)

anyone digging this newcleus song? i love this shit

GREAT show Mr. T Worth =0)

buffering issues wit me, but what i heard i really enjoyed.
esp Fela's song!!!

the beatles song was great, but i am so used to the smiths
cover of that, that it's hard to separate the two!
