I read somewhere that the title "Drukqs" when pronounced correctly sounds out "drug use". "drukqs" "druk q's" "drug q's" "drug use" thoughs? |

that's from a joke in the opening line of pitchforkmedia.com's review of drukqs. it was like "Drukqs? Druk-yoos? Drug Use? Is this another one of the Twin's cryptic pranks?" or something like that. I remember reading a [very negative] review of drukqs in rolling stone around the time of its release and the author (who gave it like 1.5 stars) concluded by commenting that it sounded pretty "fuckqd up" |

All I heard is that it is a word gamble. It has a celtic meaning. Richard has a relation to celtic ( which relays in his past far away ) It means translated in English like Push it - Like push the buttons Maybe on Electronic Gadgets Maybe on his piano - related to his very beautiful piano tracks which are on Drukqs. Maybe I m right - Maybe I m wrong. In the end it s what Richard wants us about. He a master of making a mystery around him. He makes people think and I love that. You never truely know who and how he really is. Richard is what ever you want him to be. That s what dreams all about. Go and catch it ! |
