Phoenix [web browser]

I've been using Mozilla as my default browser for prolly a
little over a year now and overall I've been
very happy with it. it is a little slow
rendering the pages, but it made up for it with it's
skinning ability and with it's tabbed browsing feature.
(which i can't live without now)

but, i recently stumbled onto phoenix, which is a
trimmed down and slightly changed version of Mozilla.

well, I'm totally impressed with it so far. yeah, it's a
slight bit buggy, but nothing at all too bad at all
considering it's only at version 0.5 right now. and, it
seems to be way more skinnable than
mozilla. plus, it keeps the tabbed browsing... and did i
mention it seems much faster at rendering HTML.

not to mention the fact that mozilla will be aiming their
browser to be more like phoenix from now on, which will make
it more viable as a browser in the future. article here

i highly recomend any web geeks who hang
out here to try it out. especially if you already use
mozilla or opera.

phoenix + the brassy skin = the sexiest way to surf
on a PC

The new Mozilla roadmap indicates that the all-in-one
browser as we know it will cease to exist and that the
components will be dealt with individually, so separate
browser, mail client etc.

What you now know as Phoenix will become the browser
element.

Yeah Mozilla's mail client is a complete disaster...

Though better than it was. I'm willing to put up with
occasional problems though.

which is derived from Konqueror. Which a fantastic browser,
but still crappy with a few sites. However it has tabbed
browsing now, and it pretty rocks!

Still having difficulties with plugins though, they are not
so trivial to set up.

I'm a recent Moz convert and I love it - much more CSS and
XHTML compilant than IE6, and tabbed browsing is the
future.

I've had no problems with Moz's mail client (yet).
