Anyone have the You Are Free album?

It ain't IDM but I figure any genre of good music is an
exceptable topic. If you don't like female rockers don't go
near this stuff, but if you want some good tunes this
album's great. I'm seeing her Monday.

I don't like it as much as I like moonpix - maybe it's just
a matter of time.
I've also been listening to some Nick Cave ( esp. murder
ballads ) lately since we are discussing songwriters.

I'm glad that people are posting about different kind of
music on this board. Maybe we're geeks, maybe we're nerds,
maybe we're boring but at least we're open-minded. A friend
of mine spoils me with his gay rock-prog stuffs those days,
I'm getting slowly into dream theater ( not all the songs ).

i've heard a couple songs from her latest ( i missed seeing
her locally, heard she goes NUTSO in concert) but 'cross
bones style' from moonpix is bad ass - her voice doesn't fit
her look IMO, it's great i just don't expect it when i look
at her.

have fun at the show!

I heard moonpix and thought it was ok, then I saw them at
ATP and was truly moved by their performance.

I really like You Are Free in some places. In others, it
sounds like Sarah McGlaughlin

i agree, but i don't necessarily find that to be a bad
thing.
